With 42 years of experience in the construction industry, Donnie Boone has been a steadfast Superintendent at Dakota for the past 18 years. Donnie began his construction journey at the young age of 17, building schools, post offices, and public buildings for 15 years starting in 1994. Notable projects at Dakota include the Suzuki Learning Centers in Buckhead and Ponce City Market, Goddard School in Midtown, The Shops @ Buckhead, and Suburban Plaza.
A graduate of Sullivan East High School in Tennessee, Donnie values the importance of family, having been married to his wife Karen for 40 years. Together, they have one daughter and four grandchildren.
Outside of work, Donnie is an avid fisherman, running two fishing clubs in central Georgia and competing year-round in fishing competitions. Proud of his accomplishments in both his personal and professional life, Donnie’s dedication to his craft and love for his family and hobbies make him a well-rounded and respected figure at Dakota.
