Before You Submit
How long does prequalification take to review?
Submissions are reviewed as they arrive. Response time depends on whether upcoming work matches the trade and service area. A delay is not a decline, and firms remain on file.
Do you work with smaller subcontractors?
Yes. Dakota's projects run from tenant improvements through ground-up structures, and the right partner for a restaurant build-out is often not the right partner for a parking deck. Capacity for the specific scope matters more than company size.
What insurance limits do you require?
Requirements vary by project, as the owner's contract sets them. Prequalification does not require certificates in advance. Limits are provided with the invitation to bid.
We are a supplier rather than an installing contractor. Should we submit?
Yes. Material suppliers and equipment vendors are part of the buyout, particularly on long-lead packages where availability drives the schedule.
Do you work outside metro Atlanta?
Atlanta is the core of Dakota's work, with projects across the wider Southeast. State the actual service area on the form so invitations match the geography a firm can genuinely cover.
